The One Piece War

As One Piece enters its final saga is a question of what is to come but I can tell you one thing for sure. There is war looming. The revolution is building and it’s only a matter of time before it burst and all out war begins.

Since Loguetown we’ve been learning bits and pieces about the mysterious leader of the revolution Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s father. We know that in recent days the revolution attacked Marejois in order to declare war on the world government and free the slaves held there but the question is what’s next? My guess is that Sabo will be responsible for rallying Luffy’s allies to the side of the revolution. Already we know that he is responsible for delivering Nefertari Cobra’s final words to his daughter Vivi and I believe that will kickstart a series of rogue kingdoms. Vivi has already witnessed one of the World Governments most hidden secrets but after learning of her fathers death she will vow to rally the friends she made during the Levely to take up arms against the government that had once given them all protection. What this means is that at a minimum Albasta, Fishman Island, and Dressrossa will declare war on the World Government leading the Strawhat Grand Fleet to join the fight and finally drawing Luffy into the war that he’s not been involved in up to this point.

The man reason I believe this is what will happen going forward in the story is based on the simple fact that Luffy needs a reason to come face to face with Akainu again if he’s going to get his revenge for Ace and what better way to do it than fighting for the freedom that he holds so dear?
