Frieren: Beyond Journey's End; The Seasons Best Fantasy

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It’s a wonderful story about the elven mage Frieren traveling the world and working to right the regrets of her past. Just this week the series has released the first four episodes of it’s brand new anime and it’s a stunningly beautiful series that you should not be missing out on.

As this series begins we see a party of heroes returning to the capitol after having finished their journey to sail the demon king, said party consists of Himmel the Hero, Eisen the Warrior, Heiter the Preist, and Frieren the mage. After receiving their just rewards from the king the four of them party and then watch a meteor shower vowing to meet up for the next one in fifty years. Frieren as an elf knows of a spot where the view of the showers will be even better and with that they each go their own way.

Now this is where out story really begins to take off but to be honest to tell you anymore about what happens in these first four episodes would be to do it a disservice, go watch the show. Experience this anime for yourself while it’s brand new, when I say that I don’t think anything else this season will stack up to it I mean it and that's in a season with both Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan, it’s really that good.
